This is a story about a boy named Calogero Anello who lived in the Bronx. He was an Italian and he was living in the part of town were blacks and Italian lived separated from each other. When Calogero was younger he had witness Sonny (a powerful Italian) shooting a man who was fighting with another man about a parking spot. Sonny killed the man and the cops went to Calogero and asked him whom it was and Calogero did not snitch on Sonny. When the cops left Sonny went to Calogero and thanks him and he told Calogero that they would be cool forever. Later on in the movie Sonny gave Calogero a new name and he called Calogero ‘C’. Throughout there is a lot of conflict between blacks and Italian. This movie shows racism in a lot of ways and I think that it racism is a lot better now than back in the days because there is not a lot of separated city now. This movie also shows that C was dating a black girl named Jane and his friends didn’t like black girls. I think that this movie shows a lot of live learning lessons in life.
