Weekly News Updates concerning Landmark HS
I hope you had wonderful weekends.
I can't believe we are entering the last full week of classes in the 2022-23 school year! As part of the bridge to next year, I enjoyed hearing from students at our PTA meeting talking about what to expect from each grade. If you couldn't make the meeting, feel free to reach out to Raymond (email@example.com for the recording.) It did stand out to me how much stress students described when PBATs and major projects are due. I know this is a difficult time! All the student representatives gave similar advice - that teachers and staff want to help you and to reach out. It's important to dig in at this time to do the best you can, and also to take good care of yourself.
Reminders about lockers and locker update! Thank you to the vast majority of students who follow the locker norms and only access lockers outside of class time Whether your locker is in the hall or in a classroom, visiting it during class can disrupt classes going on.
We want to be fair about lockers next year. Some lockers - like the top lockers in the back hallway - are in high demand. We recognize that students who are consistently in class on time benefit not only themselves but their whole classes - this is why we have the Great Adventure reward trip coming up (you can still qualify!) In addition, your period attendance this year will determine the order you can choose your locker for 2023-24. When you get your weekly email from me about your attendance, you will also see where you are in the locker choice standings.
