The  Landmark  English department strives to promote engagement with the stories of those who have been traditionally left out of the dominant narrative of history. Throughout  all grades at Landmark, English classes also encourage student choice through independent reading and book clubs.  Our curriculum focuses on the critical analysis of texts and outside sources to support students’  thinking. Students build skills in academic discussion, formal presenting, as well as evidence & argument based writing in preparation for the graduation PBAT and ELA Regents exam.
