Hello to all faculty and staff of the Bayard Rustin Educational Complex,
Welcome back to another year of PSAL sports! As we each transition back to one of our six schools for the 2026-27 school year, it’s important to also recognize that our coaches and student-athletes are gearing up to represent our entire building – the Bayard Rustin Titans.

For students interested in playing sports:
It’s extremely crucial that we identify students who might be interested in playing sports as early as possible. One major challenge in a shared campus is disseminating information to students across six schools. We try to get information out to students via:
-School announcements (via the loud speaker, email, flyers, word of mouth, etc.)
-Instagram (@bayardrustinathletics)
Students can also let us know they are interested in a sport by filling out this form. And everyone on campus can help point students in the right direction with the help of this flyer.
Requirements to play PSAL sports: Updated Physical Exam Form and Parent Consent Form.
CPR / AED Training at BREC:
We are planning to host a one day CPR/AED (defibrillator) training at some point during the fall (exact date TBD). It will take place on a school day from 9am – 3pm. Please let me know if you are interested in participating. We need a minimum of 12 staff members across the campus to lock in a class and right now we are a bit short of that number. Coaches and P.E. teachers get certified every two years, but it would be great to have more people in the building that are trained responders. All are welcome! Please email me if you are interested in taking this one day course.
Titans Store:
If you’d like to get some Titans swag (or point students/families to a place where they can) please visit the online Titans Store.
