Weekly News Updates concerning Landmark HS

Dear Landmark Students and Families,
June is Pride Month and Immigrant Heritage Month, and we celebrate both with full hearts. We are proud and grateful for every Landmark student who shows up as their full self, shares their culture, and helps make our community richer through their presence and leadership.
What an exciting week ahead! We are closing out the year with some of our favorite Landmark traditions and celebrations. On Tuesday, students taking the English Regents will be treated to a hot breakfast served by staff before the exam. This is a beloved Landmark tradition, and we encourage those students to arrive by 8:00 AM to enjoy it. The exam begins at 9:00 AM. Please note that New York State prohibits students who arrive after 10:00 AM from taking the exam this year.
Wednesday, all students come to school. Students who qualified for the Six Flags attendance reward will head to the park, and seniors will enjoy their senior trip. Students who are staying in the building have an important opportunity to catch up in their classes. Please take advantage of this time. Catching up now prevents having to start over and retake a full class in summer school or during the school year.
This Thursday, June 11, we invite you to our 🖼️🎶 4th Annual Voices of Tomorrow Art and Music Showcase ✨ at NYU from 4 to 7 PM. We could not be more proud of the students whose work will be on display. Please RSVP here so NYU can plan food. Families who RSVP by Tuesday morning will receive raffle tickets at the door!
Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead.
Best, Susanna
