Weekly News Updates concerning Landmark HS

Dear Landmark students and families,

We’re entering the final week of classes for Fall Semester, and students are in the home stretch of their coursework before PBATs and Regents exams. We’re looking forward to seeing students bring their hard work together as the semester comes to a close.

This week also includes Career Day, one of our favorite opportunities for students to explore possible futures, hear from professionals across fields, and imagine where their interests can take them. We’re excited for the conversations and inspiration the day will bring.

Next week, we pause to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, reflecting on his legacy of justice, service, and community. After that, we move into PBATs and Regents week. During this time, students will only report to school if they are scheduled for PBAT presentations or Regents exams. Spring semester classes will begin on Tuesday, January 27.

Students taking the Regents are strongly encouraged to attend Regents Prep on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Please see Jon for details. Much success to all students as they prepare for and present their PBATs. Students should check their email carefully for their assigned PBAT presentation date and time.

SCAN Harbor Virtual Presentation Opportunity - January 13, 6:15pm

Our sister school, Humanities Prep, is inviting Landmark families to attend a virtual presentation by SCAN Harbor, a nonprofit organization that provides mentoring, enrichment, and college and career readiness support for NYC students.
